You found your Prince Charming and you are ready to take the next step.  If you are close enough for sex, you are close enough to ask a few questions. Ask if he is aware of a past partner having HPV. This can prevent your exposure to more strains. Be responsible and inform him of your HPV status to help to prevent spreading of HPV virus. If you decide to proceed with a sexual relationship, check for genital warts. Many men are unaware they even have genital warts. Utilize all available methods of protection, use condoms 100% of the time, as well as sexual lubricant.  Note that the only 100% protection is abstinence.
